Anna was active in her church of St. Augustine's and a very active member of the Brushton-Moira Community Memorial Garden. She loved quilting and especially quilt fabric shopping with her sisters. She was part of a quilting group at her home for many years. She and Joel were avid flower gardeners and loved showing people around their extensive flower gardens. They were even featured in HGL magazine. One year they were part of the Massena Garden tour. They also hosted a group of seniors from the St Regis Falls Senior Center to tour the gardens. They grow many of their own flowers, but the highlight of spring was a shopping trip to all the greenhouses and coming back with the car bursting with more plants than they had room for.

Anna very much-loved time with all her family and hosted many parties that filled her home with good food and much laughter. She mostly loved time spent with her husband Joel. It didn't matter what they were doing, most of the time they did it together for 52 years. A favorite pastime was sitting together on the recliner watching the birds and wildlife in the back yard.
