Bernadine Peck

September 5, 1927 — January 4, 2024

Nicholville/Potsdam - Bernadine G. Peck, 96, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at the United Helpers Maplewood Center in Canton. Arrangements are entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home. Her family will honor her life privately at this time. A graveside service at Fairview Cemetery in Dickinson Center will be held in the spring which will be announced.

Bernadine was born September 5, 1927, in Dickinson Center, daughter of the late Charles and Hattie S. (Baldwin) Fellows. She was joined in marriage to Clark A. Peck at the Methodist Parsonage in Potsdam. They were blessed with 67 years of a loving marriage until Clark's passing on December 15, 2014.

Bernadine worked in the cafeteria at the Congdon Campus School until its closing and then worked at The Greenery Dining Hall at SUNY Potsdam for PACES food service until her retirement. Bernadine and Clark enjoyed traveling after their retirements. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, playing cards, and her flower gardens.

She is survived by her children Roger Peck of Nicholville, Mark and Candy Peck of St Regis Falls, Dana and Tabitha Peck of Winthrop and Dawn and Chris Taylor of Potsdam, 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

Bernadine was predeceased by her son Daniel Charles Peck, daughter Darla Patrick, granddaughter Carey Martin, great grandson Brady Frazier, daughter in law, Judy Peck, and siblings Martha Niles, Lloyd Roscoe, Pauline Dorway, Loretta Walker, Thelma LaPlant and Caroline Brooks.

Bernadine will be missed by all her family and friends and we're lucky to have been blessed by her presence for so many years.
