Carol A. Crump, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away surrounded by her family on November 22, 2025, at the age of 77. Born in March 1948, in Bronxville, New York, she was the cherished daughter of Stephen and Mazie (Bonaro) Orce.

Carol grew up in White Plains and graduated from White Plains High School. After completing her schooling, she began her professional life at MetLife. She later worked part-time with both the U.S. Post Office and Clark's Florist, though her greatest joy and most treasured role was that of a housewife and homemaker. She defined herself as a domestic engineer and a military hostess, not a donut dolly! Her home was always a warm, welcoming place filled with love, laughter, and the steady presence of family and friends.

On June 22, 1968, Carol married the love of her life, Stanley F. Crump, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in White Plains. Together they shared 57 beautiful years of marriage, built a family rooted in kindness and devotion, and created countless memories that will be forever cherished.

Carol is survived by her two children, F. Scott Crump and Renee (Adrian) Armpriester; her sister, Rosemary Davis of Houston, Texas; and her treasured grandchildren-Jeffrey, Joshua, and Johnathan Armpriester, and Rachael and Allison Hawkins-each of whom brought her immense pride and joy. She is also lovingly remembered by her in-laws David (Sue) Crump, Rex (Becky) Crump, and John (Veronica) Crump, two godchildren, ten nieces, two nephews, and many friends. Carol was predeceased by her parents, Stephen and Mazie, her brothers, Gerard and Robert Orce, and her niece, Nicole Crump.

Her hobbies reflected her generous heart and her deep appreciation for the simple joys of life. Carol cherished every moment spent with her family. She enjoyed spending time outdoors walking, gardening, and traveling. She found joy in sewing and cooking, and she cared deeply for the environment, always striving to leave the world a little better than she found it. She loved cats and was known to have them around to cuddle. She loved music and singing, and shared this with residents in local nursing homes. She was also a talented knitter and crocheter, creating countless baby blankets and lap robes for veterans-each one a heartfelt gift stitched with warmth and care.

Carol will be remembered for her warmth, her generosity, and her unwavering love for those she held dear. Her presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
