Charles H. Victory

Winthrop – Charles H. Victory, 89, passed away peacefully Thursday April 10, 2014 at the St. Regis Nursing Home in Massena. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop. Charles was born on February 10, 1925 in Oswego, son of the late Herbert and Annie (Hoyt) Victory. He proudly served in the U. S. Army during World War II, participating in the New Guinea and the Philippine Liberation Campaigns. After the war, Charles worked his skills in carpentry with his specialty being cabinetmaking and boat building. On November 4, 1972 he married Judy Camberon in Hollywood, FL. He is survived by his wife, Judy; six children; seven grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. Following Charles' wishes, there will be no services. Special thanks from Judy to the St. Regis Nursing Home, Nurses Station A1 for their exemplary care of Charles during his stay. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
