Darrell L. Freeman Jr.

Massena- Mr. Darrell L. Freeman Jr., 47, unexpectedly passed away on Sunday August 26, 2018 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington.

Arrangements are entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop and in keeping with Darrell’s wishes there will be no services at this time.

Darrell was born in Potsdam on January 16, 1971 to Darrell L. and Carol (Oakes) Freeman Sr. and he attended St. Lawrence High School in Brasher Falls. He worked as a clerk in food service at Price Chopper in Canton.

In his leisure time Darrell enjoyed watching TV and his favorite movies.

He is survived by his son, Darrell L. Freeman III of Massena, his daughter, Autumn L. Freeman of Malone; his grandchildren including Bentley Oakes; several aunts, uncles, and many cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Carol Oakes Freeman.
