Donna Lalonde

Brasher Falls- Donna C. LaLonde, 80, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Canton- Potsdam Hospital. Following her wishes, her family will honor her life privately.

Donna was born on October 26, 1942, in Malone, daughter of the late Kenneth and Catherine (St. Hilaire) Sweet. She married Ivan J. LaLonde on November 13, 1970. She worked at the Bombay Slipper Factory for a while and operated the Tri Town Redemption Center in Brasher Falls. She was a member of the Tri Town 4-Wheeler Club.

She is survived by her husband, Ivan, three children, Brian Sweet of FL, Michelle LaLonde and Steven "Pod" Podurski of Brasher Falls, and Melissa Morrill of Parishville, three grandchildren, Brian Sweet, Jr., Jared Morrill, and Jacob Remington, great grandchildren, Lili, Chloe, and Silas Sweet, two sisters, Patricia and Leland Drake of Nicholville and Pamela and Robin McLaughlin of Nicholville, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Keith Sweet in 1973, a sister, Erma Michaud, three brothers, Donald Sweet, Jeffery Sweet and James Sweet.
