Ft. Jackson - We sadly announce that Garrett W. Macy, left us on his 48th birthday, April 15, 2026. Garrett was born in Potsdam, NY, on April 15, 1978, the son of David and Georgia (Warner) Macy. He enjoyed 4-wheeling, UTV riding and X-Box.
He is survived by his parents, David and Georgia Macy of Ft. Jackson, his brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Rachel Macy, of Westwood, MA and his nieces and nephews, Jack, Kayla and Brooke, who will miss him dearly.
Following Garrett's wishes, his family will honor his life privately. Arrangements are entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop, where memories can be shared online at www.hammillfh.com.
Garrett, you will be missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace.
