Brasher Falls- Mr. James N. Moller Jr., 70, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2025, at the Canton- Potsdam Hospital – RRH, with his loving daughters by his side.

Arrangements are entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop and there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Thursday September 25, 2025, at 10:00AM at St. Patrick Cemetery in Brasher Falls.

He was born on May 17, 1955, to the late James N. and Catherine Moller Sr., in Glen Cove, Long Island. He graduated from Glen Cove High School and met his beloved Helen Zawada. They were married on May 17, 1977, giving their dedication to their two daughters and to the simple joys that brought them happiness. James and Helen shared 47 years together until Helen’s passing on December 10, 2024.

James had a passion for photography, found joy in the beauty of vegetable and flower gardening and loved cooking. He had a particular fondness for old school automobiles, especially the classic Chevy Impalas captured his heart. He also had quite a collection of tools.

James enjoyed the thrilling escapades of 007 movies, which entertained him thoroughly, and the music of the Doobie Brothers.

James will be remembered by his daughters, Belinda 'Linda' Bell and her companion Chris of Massena, and Helen Moller Jr. and her companion Carl of Bombay; a granddaughter, Gege Wan; and four sisters, Betty, Barbara, Diane, and Cathy.

He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Catherine Lynn Plourde.

In lieu of flowers James’s family requests donations be made to help offset costs related to services. Those who donate can write an expression of sympathy for the family which can be found by clicking on the Blue “Donate Now” button located below.
