Joyce C. Cox, a beloved homemaker and mother, peacefully passed away on April 6, 2024, at her residence in Dickinson Center. Born on June 18, 1935, in Santa Clara, she is the daughter of the late Julius and Virginia (Barcomb) Susice. She married Ernest Cox, Jr. on August 4, 1951. Joyce was a dedicated wife, mother and caregiver to her children, leaving behind a legacy of love and strength.

She is survived by her children Ronda and Robert Northrup of Dickinson Center, Robbie and Karen Cox of Dickinson Center, Ralph Cox of St Regis Falls, Randy and Karen Cox of Dickinson Center, and Ricky and Connie Cox of Griswold, CT, as well as her 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest and a grandson, Adam Cox. Joyce's commitment to her family and her warm spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Joyce enjoyed playing bingo and poker, crocheting, reading, and caring for her cat and dog. She liked being outside gardening both flowers and vegetables. She had an unwavering love for her family.

A Mass in honor of Joyce will be held at St. Ann Church in St. Regis Falls on April 11, 2024, at 11:00 am, where friends and family will gather to pay their final respects and celebrate the life of this remarkable woman. Following the service, Joyce will be laid to rest at Sand Hill Cemetery in Dickinson Center. Arrangements are entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home in St. Regis Falls, where memories can be shared at www.hammillfh.com
