Kenneth R. LaVair

Waterville: It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth Roy LaVair - born March 1, 1940 in Brookdale, NY, he made his home in Waterville, NY where he passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026, at the age of 86.

Ken married Anna Frances Morehouse on May 24, 1957. Together they raised seven children, leaving behind a legacy of love.

With hearts broken he leaves his beloved children and their spouses - Christopher LaVair, Brenda and Tom King, Bonita LaVair (Austin), Marlene and Robert Masca, Nancy LaVair (Irrizary), Timothy LaVair, Jennifer and Jim Yaddow. Ken cherished his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He had devoted himself to farming; raising us on the land that he loved. He has always been a loving and devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Ken was known for his hard work, generosity, and for his caring and giving ways. He will never be forgotten and will forever be in our hearts.

We would like to give a very big heartfelt thank you to Tommy and Patty Durrant for always being there for our Dad.

Graveside services will be Friday, May 15th, at 2:00 p.m., at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Brasher Falls, NY.
