St. Regis Falls- Mrs. Laura A. “Midge” Sevey, 75, passed away peacefully, Saturday April 25, 2015 at her home, surrounded by her family. Arrangements are entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home in St. Regis Falls. Laura was born in Clearfield, PA., on March 8, 1939 to the late Albert Litten and Beatrice (Haggerty) Litten. She graduated from Colton-Pierrepont Central School. On July 11, 1959 she married Marshal Sevey at the Episcopal Church in Colton. They shared a devoted union of 42 years until the time of Marshal’s passing in 2002. Midge’s passion in life was caretaking for others; especially her children and grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday from 11-1 at the funeral home. Midge’s Funeral Service will be celebrated at 1:00pm at the conclusion of visitation. Burial will follow at Forest Cemetery in St. Regis Falls. For those wishing to express an act of kindness, memorial contributions may be made in Midge’s honor to the St. Regis Falls Volunteer Fire Department.
