St. Regis Falls/Massena - Linda Lee Parks, left us peacefully at Massena Memorial Hospital on August 23, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on January 26, 1942, in Malone, she is the daughter of the late Glenford and Millie (Richards) Catura. Linda spent her life embracing the beauty of education and family. She married Ira W. Parks, the love of her life, on June 28, 1960.

While dedicating herself to raising her children, Linda worked in various positions, including
WICY radio station and Sea Grant of Cornell University. Linda was a dedicated educator, earning her Master's Degree and making a lasting impact in the field of business education. She had a passion for teaching that extended beyond the classroom, instilling a love for learning in all who crossed her path.

In retirement, Linda and Ira spent many winters in Port Orange, Florida. There she was a member of the Red Hats, participated in BUNCO, Mexican Train, Bingo and crafts. She found much joy, as a member of the Line Dancing group, performing at special events in the community. She and Ira spent holiday parties in the company of friends and were often seen gliding around the dance floor; Linda loved to dance. Linda developed many friendships, as she was an integral part of the Colony in the Wood community.

Linda will be lovingly remembered by her four daughters and sons-in-law: Terri and Brendan Fear of Fayetteville, Tracie and Tracy Lucas of St. Regis Falls, Tuesday
Barcomb of Plattsburgh, and Tara and Matt Dolan of Troy -- each of whom carries pieces of her spirit within them. She also leaves behind her dear sister, Phyllis Spaulding of San Antonio, TX, her nine grandchildren: Elizabeth, Joseph, Mandee, Kyle, Krista, Matt, Brittany, Selena, Owen, and seven great grandchildren: McKinleigh, Elianna, Alexander, Kora, Kiarrah, Carter, Colter. Linda was preceded in death by: her husband, Ira Parks, her sister, Sally Hazelton, and her son-in-law, Randy Barcomb. Linda's memory lives on in the hearts of her family and friends. Her candor, strength, and independence, embody how Linda lived her life.

Following her wishes, her family will honor her life privately. Arrangements are entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home in St. Regis Falls, where memories and condolences can be shared with her family at
