Lloyd T Shanty

Norfolk - Lloyd T. Shanty, 79, passed away Friday March 18, 2016 at University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop. Following his wishes, there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held later at Bixby Cemetery in Norfolk. Lloyd was born on August 30, 1936 in Norfolk, son of the late Hollis R. and Helen (Martin) Shanty. He worked for Barrett's Paving Materials in Norwood for many years. He is survived by one son, Lloyd Shanty, Jr. of Madisonville, TN and one sister, Betty Bombard of Norfolk, and his grandchildren. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.hammillfh.com.
