Morgan A. Marsh, Jr.

Morgan Allen Marsh, Jr., 85, passed away November 14, 2025, in Massena, NY. Morgan was born on July 6, 1940, in Stockholm, NY to Morgan Allen Marsh, Sr. and Bertha Mae (Davis) Marsh. He graduated from St. Lawrence Central High School in 1958, with a keen interest for history. He then began his life's work as the sixth generation on the family dairy farm with his father, Morgan, Sr. Together, they milked primarily Jersey cows, with a few Ayrshires added in later years.

Four years later, Morgan married his wife of over 60 years, Lorraine Elizabeth (Silver) Marsh on October 27, 1962. Their marriage brought two children, Michelle L. (Marsh) Larivee and Eric A. Marsh.

Morgan was known for his love of deer hunting, square dancing, family genealogy, trout fishing when the only thing biting were the black flies, and swapping stories. He is survived by his daughter, Michelle and her husband, Robert, of Newport, VT, his son Eric and his wife Jody, of Derry, NH, four grandchildren, Jared and Rachel Larivee, Isaac and Caleb Marsh, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Morgan is predeceased in death by his parents, Morgan,Sr. and Bertha Marsh, his brother, Edwin Marsh, his two sisters, Shirley (Marsh) Parker and Rhoda (Marsh) Hall and his beloved wife, Lorraine.

Calling hours for Morgan will be held Saturday, November 22nd from 2 to 5 pm at the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop, NY. His graveside service will be held at a later date at the convenience of his family.
