Winthrop - Pamela A. Bressett, 66, passed away on November 25, 2024. Following her wishes, there will be no public calling hours. Arrangements are entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop. Her family will honor her life on Sunday, December 1st with a Celebration of Life at Pike's Place in Brasher Falls from 12 noon to 4 pm.
Pamela was born on November 6, 1958, in Potsdam, daughter of the late John W. and Beverly P. (Green) Yandoh. She worked for over 13 years as a cook for the Head Start Program in Potsdam. Being involved in her children's lives was paramount to her. She stood behind her kids and welcomed her grandchildren with such joy, her face would light up when she saw them. Her kids and grandchildren will have the memories of her at their sporting events. She was an active participant in dirt track racing and took pleasure collecting unique antiques, which she displayed in her home.
She is survived by her companion, Mike White, her children, Stephen and Sharalee Bressett, Jr. of Winthrop, Jason and Ashley Bressett of Syracuse, Dana and Josh Shorette of Helena, Justin White and his companion, Heather Downer of Buckton, 16 grandchildren; Ian, Xavier, Zoey, Dylan, Noah, McKinlee, Haily, Madiyson, Dakotta, Amber, Kaeleb, Connor, Brayden, Raycen, Corbin and Ashlyn, 3 great grandchildren; Waylon, Dutten, and Hudson, her siblings, David and Sandy Yandoh, John and Molly Yandoh, Jr., Dale Yandoh, Lisa Yandoh, Stephen and Beth Yandoh, Julie Yandoh and her companion, Kelly Bradley, many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Deborah Malley and Tammy Burch.
