Phyllis Griffin

Brasher Falls - Phyllis Griffin, passed away peacefully passed away on January 11, 2026, at her home, at the age of 84. A lifelong resident of Brasher Falls, Phyllis was born on October 29, 1941, daughter of the late Stanley Ethel (Mitchell) Rafter. She graduated from St. Lawrence Central School. In October 1960, she married Allen O. Griffin, who passed away on January 12, 2012.

Phyllis worked as a production worker at a plastic factory in Massachusetts.She is survived by two children, Robert and Sharon Griffin and Paula Griffin, two sisters, Bea and Ruth, 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by five brothers, Bobbie, Mike, Roy, Connie, and Rodger, and two sisters, Peggie and Shirley.

Graveside services will be held at Carville Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements are entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop, where memories can be shared at www.hammillfh.com.
