Reginald E. Francis Jr.

North Lawrence - Reginald E. Francis Jr., left us peacefully on July 31, 2026, at the age of 75, at University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, VT. Reginald, lovingly known as Reggie, was born on February 15, 1951, in Hartford, CT, son of Irene P. (Perrault) and the late Reginald E. Francis, Sr.

Reggie worked at Kraft in North Lawrence and after he retired started working as a bus monitor for St. Lawrence County Head Start, where he brought smiles and care to countless children every day. He was a past member of the Lawrenceville Fire Department. His friendly demeanor made him a beloved figure in the community.

He leaves behind his wife, Susan Francis, and his mother, Irene Francis, his children: Reginald Francis, III, Michelle Guyette, Brian Francis, and Nathaniel Francis, his brother, Rick and Judy Francis, and his sisters, Sharon and Allen Wagstaff, Shelly and Kevin Scellen, and Sheila and Michael Hawes, five grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

To follow his wishes and to honor of Reggie's life, a time of visitation will be held Saturday, August 15 from 12 noon at Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop, concluding with a service at 1 pm. His graveside committal will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in North Lawrence at 2:30 pm. Friends and family are welcome to join us with a luncheon following the burial at the Lawrenceville Fire Station at 3 pm, as we celebrate the life of a truly remarkable man, sharing stories and memories that will keep his spirit alive.
