Greenwich/St. Regis Falls- It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandra F. (Servant) Cox, 82, a beloved sister, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Arrangements are entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home in St. Regis Falls. A graveside service will be held at Forest Cemetery in St. Regis Falls on Friday November 10th at 11:00AM.

Born on September 5, 1941, in Malone, NY, Sandra was the daughter of the late John and Luella (Palmer) Servant. She grew up in a close-knit community, which instilled in her a strong sense of family and compassion. Her warm presence and kind-hearted nature touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

After completing her education at St. Regis Falls High School, Sandy was married to William Cox, and they had 4 children. William "Skeeter," Allen, Laurie, and Amy. The marriage ended in divorce and William passed away in May of 2019.

Sandra found friendship and formed a special bond with Gerald Melius for many years until the time of his passing.

For over 30 years, Sandra devoted her time and energy to working at Stewarts Shops, where she formed lasting relationships with her colleagues and customers.

She embraced the beauty of country living, finding solace and delight in the farm she called home. Caring for her beloved chickens brought her a sense of fulfillment and tranquility, and she took great pleasure in tending to them.

An avid and talented crochet enthusiast, Sandy's nimble fingers brought to life countless intricate patterns and designs. Her handmade creations were not only a testament to her skill but also served as heartfelt gifts to those she held dear.

Sandy's journey through life was marked by simplicity, joy, and a devotion to her family. She leaves behind her children; William "Skeeter" Cox, Allen Cox, Laurie and Robert Bradley, and Amy and Jeff Horton.

Sandy's legacy extended to her grandchildren, who brought immense joy and happiness into her life; Steve Singley, Amanda Cox, Mallory Cox, Tyler Cox, Alexander Bradley, his companion Kathy Evans and her daughter Hayley, Joseph (Deidra) Bradley, Matthew Bradley, Brandon (Ashley) Cofrancisco, Nicole (Trevor) Lundberg, and a great grandson, Grayson Lundberg, who was the light of her life.

Sandy is also survived by her siblings, Elsie and Arleigh Walker of St. Regis Falls, Edward and Mary Servant of White River Junction, VT., Dottie and Gary Servant of St. Regis Falls, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Sandy's canine companion, Luella, was her faithful and loyal friend, as well as her two cats, Stretch and Boobie. Their special bond brought solace and happiness to Sandra's life, their walks and snuggles together were filled with love and companionship.
