It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Timothy G. Palmer, a beloved brother, who departed from this life on October 23, 2025, at his home in Rensselaer Falls at the age of 70. Born on April 25, 1955, in Malone, Timothy is the son of the late Gerald L. and Helen E. (Patraw) Palmer.
As a man of great resilience and determination, Timothy earned his high school diploma and went on to become a valued member of the St. Regis Falls community at the Town Garage and the Campsite and of North Star Industries, where he exemplified the spirit of hard work and commitment. He enjoyed gardening, cooking and taking care of his cats.
Timothy is remembered with love by his family, including his brother James Palmer and Dawn Stevens of Wilmington,and his sisters Judith Collins of Potsdam and Pauline and Scott Nelson of Potsdam, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Their cherished memories of laughter, support, and togetherness will forever resonate in the legacy he leaves behind. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister in law, Paula Palmer and a brother in law, Glen Collins.
A graveside service will be held in honor of Timothy on Thursday,October 30, 2025, at 2:30 PM at Forest Cemetery in Saint Regis Falls, NY, where friends and family will gather to celebrate his life and bid farewell. Prior to the service, visitation will take place at Hammill Funeral Home in St. Regis Falls from 12:00 PM until 2:00 pm the time of the service.
We invite all who knew Timothy to join us as we pay our final respects and honor the memory of a remarkable man who touched the lives of many. His journey may have concluded, but the love he shared and the impact he made will forever remain in our hearts.
