Yvette H. Francis

Brasher Falls - Yvette H. Francis, who left us peacefully at the age of 97 on July 10, 2026, at North Country Rehabilitaion and Nursing facility. Born on April 14, 1929, Yvette was a daughter of the late Joseph and Roseanda (Carriere) Bissonnette. She married William J. Francis on September 26, 1953 in Massena. He passed away on December 12, 2004. She was a clerk at Fishman's in Massena, then helped her husband on the farm, and raised five boys She could be seen with her red wagon, picking sticks on her property. She enjoyed puzzles, cards, fish dinners, and watching the turkeys, deer and the wildlife.

Yvette is survived by her sons, William J. Francis and his fiance' Gina Boyea of Brasher Falls, Michael A. Francis of Winthrop, Anthony J. Francis of Norfolk and Richard E. Francis of Rochester, her grandchildren, Amy Francis, William Francis IV, Caitlen Francis, Michael Francis, Jr., Matthew Francis, Trisha Francis and Eric Francis. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son James P. Francis, her siblings, Electa Himmelberger, Rheal Bissonnette and Lorraine Fish.

In following her wishes, she will be buried privately with her husband and son, James.
